From what age are children welcome at Haus 26?

Children aged 12 and over are very welcome at Haus 26. We do not offer family rooms or extra beds in a double room. For children aged 12 and over, a bed/room must be booked – just like for adults.

Are dogs welcome at Haus 26?

Unfortunately, dogs (or other pets) are not welcome at Haus 26.

Do you have options for groups?

For groups of up to 8 people, we offer the option to book Haus 26 as a “private hotel.” In that case, there is no minimum age requirement. Check our group offer.

Do you have the option for an extra bed in a room?

No, we only have double rooms at Haus 26 and do not have extra beds available. Our double rooms can, of course, also be booked for one person.

Does Haus 26 also have single rooms? 

No, we do not have single rooms, but naturally, our rooms can also be booked as single rooms. Email us for prices.

Are there rooms on the ground floor?

No, all our rooms are located on the first floor. This floor is only accessible by stairs.

FOOD

Do you only serve vegan food?

Yes, all our food is 100% vegan. Both breakfast and dinner are entirely plant-based/vegan. Bringing non-vegan food into our dining room (for example, bringing your own toppings to breakfast) is not permitted.

Do I have to be vegan to stay at Haus 26?

No, everyone is very welcome at Haus 26! We love letting everyone taste our versatile and varied cuisine. From an extensive breakfast to a gourmet dinner, it is a delicious experience for everyone. Many non-vegan guests have stayed with us before you, and many of them return regularly.

Can I also eat at Haus 26 without staying at the hotel? 

Absolutely! Non-hotel guests are also very welcome in our restaurant. Please make a reservation at least 1 day in advance, subject to availability.

Can I eat at Haus 26 if I have a food allergy?

Please contact us (haus@haus26.at) so we can discuss the possibilities. As a rule, we can cook gluten-free (though traces of gluten cannot be ruled out) and can avoid ingredients such as soy, certain nuts, and seeds. We would certainly like to discuss this in advance, especially for longer stays.

OTHER

Can you charge an electric car at Haus 26?

We have a Wallbox at our house to charge an electric car. Our guests can make use of this. We charge €0.55 per kWh for this.

Is there a place to safely store and charge bicycles?

Yes. Bicycles can be parked in our garage. There is also a possibility to charge e-bikes here. The garage is locked in the evening.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is not allowed in or around our house. This means that our terrace and garden are also smoke-free.
